The Gerber Parang is a modern version of the traditional jungle tribesmen’s machete. Its heavy blade makes short work of branches or vines. An invaluable tool in the jungle.
The angled blade is made of robust high carbon steel to enhance strength, corrosion resistance and ease of sharpening. It is ideal for clearing brush or tree limbs. The machete has a full tang construction, which further boosts durability.
An ergonomic textured rubber grip maximizes comfort and reduces slippage, whilst the lanyard cord acts as guard, enhancing grip security.
The machete is supplied with a nylon holster, which is lightweight, military-grade and mildew resistant.
Supplied with Land to Air rescue and SOS instructions, along with a 'Priorities of Survival' pocket guide containing Bear Grylls’ survival essentials.
